The Reenactor Appreciation Weekend again this year was a great success with over 200 Reenactors of different periods attending and taking advantage of the discounts and free offers from the various businesses and venues this past weekend.  The highlight of the weekend was the Veteran's Honor Dance Saturday evening.  Also, the Fashion Display and Tea was a sell out with 50 people attending.  The event is always on the first weekend of March.

All registered Reenactors please join us at the Gettysburg Diorama & History Center to receive your reenactor ID card, 

schedule of events and the discount listing for participating merchants for the weekend 

The Diorama and other displays will be open for all registered Reenactors.         This is a free event

BATTLEFIELD BREW WORKS

Gettysburg Battlefield Tour with Licensed Battlefield Guide Jim Pangborn

Tour the most infamous hollow grounds of Gettysburg's National Battlefield with LBG Jim Pangborn as 

he recounts the battle of Pickett's Charge.  

Tour will meet at the Virginia Monument. Please arrive by 9:50AM     This is a free event

 Historic Building Tours:

Jump back in time to the 1860's and tour some of Gettysburg's most historic and famous houses and buildings.

DANIEL LADY FARM 1PM – 4PM

The Daniel Lady Farm will be open for any registered Reenactors for a House Tour.        This is a free event

TILLIE PIERCE HOUSE 10AM-4PM

301 Baltimore St Gettysburg

The Tillie Pierce House Inn will be open for a walk-through to gain knowledge through the perspective of a 

young civilian during the Civil War. Also, plan to add your handiwork to a veteran’s lap quilt to be 

presented to local vets.     This is a free event

This project is part of the “Quilt With Me” program of the Tillie Pierce House Inn.

The "Church of the Presidents", visited by Lincoln and joined by the Eisenhowers, invites you to visit and/or 

worship with them in their active and historic church located in downtown Gettysburg.  Join the congregation 

for worship service and/or a tour of the sanctuary following the service.
